The 84-cm telescope belongs to the University of Bochum, with which we develop the international CONICYT-DAAD project “Monitoring of quasars, long observing periods”, whose goal is observing these objects for a long time and studying how they change. This is a difficult task for other telescopes in Chile due to the allocation time procedures used there.
